Designing superior and extravagant bathrooms requires a lot of thought and attention to small details. For example, in the Master Bath we added heated, limestone floors that are programmable so that when you first stumble out of bed in the morning your bare feet are warmed by the limestone flooring. For the oversized steam shower we used custom Pratt and Larson tiles that features a basket weave design, that we also used for the lavatory back splashes. This shower has temperature controlled selectable shower head, rain shower head and a hand held shower head. So many choices to suit your mood for the day.
What about those times when you’ve had a hectic day or fallen once too often on the slopes. Relaxing in your deep bubbling tub never felt better. There is no fear of running out of hot water in this spacious tub which is 6 ft x 3 ft and 20” deep. This bath has continuous hot water and, if you are so inclined, plenty of room for two.
Dual lavs have Pratt and Larson custom countertops and backsplashes that repeat the basket weave design featured in the steam shower. When you brush your teeth you can gaze out the Master Bath window, over your private deck and enjoy the Cascade mountain views. The Master Bath is an experience you will enjoy and savor each time you use it.
The large upper level en suite is located in a separate wing of the house allowing for maximum privacy. The bathroom is stunning. The stone and glass tiled shower uses an artful and creative motif of the glass tile emerging from the stone tile like lava rising from a volcanic vent. The shower has selectable body wash nozzles and shower head. A stone tiled compass rose is used for the base of the shower that has a frameless glass enclosure. It’s dramatically inventive.
The lower level en suite is a fresh and tranquil addition to this home’s deluxe bathroom collection. The tile selection and glass-blocked walls provide a light and airy experience that you will enjoy. It is lovely and in harmony with the adjoining bedroom with its eastern exposure overlooking the magnificently landscaped entry circle. The serenity of this space goes full circle.
A shower is always refreshing after a tough workout. Forty-five minutes on a treadmill or elliptical machine justifies some “my time” in the shower. Adjacent to the workout room is a full bath that meets those requirements. Wash off the sweat and grime before returning to your home office work station. Plenty of time to make that early scheduled Zoom session. You will look fresh and vigorous, making those in attendance wonder what is your secret.
The best surprise is the home’s powder room. It’s an intimate experience you and your guests will enjoy. Walking into this exquisitely designed powder room you are surrounded by venetian plaster, dramatic lighting and featured art work. The room exudes warmth, peacefulness and serenity. The custom concrete basin is one of a kind. Water ripples from the unique faucet onto a bed of smooth river rock. Every detail was considered including a chic, self-flushing urinal for the guys.
